Re: Beta Testers

This is a bit tangential to the OP's question, but... Does anyone know if a developer's beta testers get the released versions of their modules for free (once they hit the store)? My only published module so far is "free for all" but I have some (likely) non-free items coming soon, thanks ...

Re: VoltageImage SetCurrentImage behaviour

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm familiar with the hide-n-seek method, but was hoping to avoid it. Drawing the image to a Canvas is a new idea (to me anyway), but for the moment I'll live with toggling the image object's visibility (to force a refresh). These are UI-rate events, so it shouldn't add t...

VoltageImage SetCurrentImage behaviour

Hi Folks... I have a control that I'd like to have change a displayed image (for another). Looking at the methods currently available in VoltageImage, I spotted SetCurrentImage, and thought that would make a neater solution than creating a stack of hidden images and toggling their visibility. I've a...

Re: Virtual VM Developers Conference?

Thanks for the feedback! 'Twas just a thought, as I think there's a lot of wheel-reinvention going on at the moment. I don't mean at the module level, but we're all solving similar "housekeeping" issues. While I've only released a single (free) module, my long suffering beta group can tell...

Virtual VM Developers Conference?

What follows is based on my opinion/experience (yours may well differ), and isn't intended as a gripe at Cherry Audio in any way. Some recent struggles with Toggle Button skins crystallized a question that I'd been toying with for a few weeks now: Is it time for a Voltage Modular Developers Confere...

I don't have a copy (yet), but I think this is something of a bible: https://bjooks.com/products/patch-tweak ... -synthesis

Re: 2.2.4 won't install

Windows 10 (20H2) here too, and 2.2.4 is also working as expected. The Captain Obvious in me wants to make sure you've updated both VM and VMD. FWIW, I think 2.2.4 is a 'click fix' (but not the 'glitch fix' I'd been hoping for ;) ): https://forums.cherryaudio.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1445 Good lu...

Re: Thin module display glitch

This is still an issue in 2.2.3. My WAG is that somewhere the code is using the clipping rectangle (or similar) for a 3HP object vs the correct 2HP one: thin-vibrations-2.PNG As you can see, between winter weather and being locked down, I've gotten a bit manic with creating these things ;) Cheers, -...

Re: Hoping for TABS in Designer

Glad it's working out!

I always seem to be missing a variable somewhere too ;)
