Re: Syrup liquid filter: a must have for VM owners

I third this! :D I also have the hardware ripple and the VCV ripples and Syrup is great at getting 'that sound' but also it goes a lot further....In expands the original ripples in mind blowing ways to take your sound in to new/unheard directions. This to me is what 'patch and play' stuff should be ...

Re: Well done on 2.0.22

KVR does have sub forums (there is one in bitwig for hardware scripts). Muffwigglers is very hardware focused, there isn’t that much activity in the software sub, but if I was CA I would be posting there every time I updated! KVR is definitely the hub for all things ‘software’ related to music....it...

Re: Well done on 2.0.22

Discourse is a nice platform, but if I was CA I would host the forum on KVR as the posts show to everyone so as well as existing users discussing things your software is constantly being promoted/exposed to potential new users, I know Bitwig has gained quite a few new users this way, and KVR is a de...

Re: Idea: would love a more real looking VM gui

Yes, the Softube modules look amazing, but they also cost around 40-150E each! When you are charging that much, you can afford a graphic designer and they are also officially licenced to the module owners so no copyright issues!

Re: Transport Controls on Stand Alone (and Hello!)

Yes, I have to agree with other replys to this message. I have a eurorack system (I believe is ultimately what VM is modeled after .. correct? ) I don't have a "Transport" Module... I challenge anyone to find one! It would be a waste of money and rack space! If I want to start a sequence,...

Re: A few Questions from a N00b and Hello

Sending CV out is a little more complicated than midi unless you have specific audio hardware (DC coupled) and plug in software or something like expert sleepers (hardware) module to safely convert an audio out to a voltage (or visa versa) The ES-8 is very popular, I use a couple of ES3's as my audi...

Re: CPU Meter (stand alone)

I don't think a CPU display is a lot of overhead. There is one displayed in perminaneltly in all the DAWS I have used (Live, Bitwig, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper and even Maschine!) so I guess some people (including me) find them useful.

I am not really sure what you mean, almost all DAWS and sequencers have CPU monitoring, it helps not get crackles and pops by overloading?

CPU Meter (stand alone)

Is there any CPU monitoring option? It would be good to have this on the taskbar or control panel? VCV has quite a nice option where it shows CPU 'per module', but to be honest I can normally trouble shoot just by adding/taking away modules and seeing the affect on the CPU (or how close I am getting...

Re: Transport Controls on Stand Alone (and Hello!)

It is definitely perfectly OK without transport/master clock; there are lots of ways around it, but then you you also don't need a buss...its just for convenience to save lots of common cabling to get to the sound faster. I had assumed a transport/clock would work the same way, sequencers/clocked de...
