Re: NRPN controllers
Wow, this looks amazing! Do you plan on 3D-printing a case for that?

Re: Spectral oscillator?
Just got an email notification of your reply. Pretty cool! Maybe you can make it in polyphonic + mono as a final extra addition. I hope. I also hope it sounds like the Nords spectral osc in some settings. Maybe it will. Well, although the module is highly optimized in terms of computational effort ...

Re: Spectral oscillator?
I actually have a spectral/additive oscillator in the making. There are a few things I still have to sort out, but the bulk of the work is done and I'm quite happy with it so far. To give you a little sneak'n'peak on the features: up to 512 partials (very high CPU usage) all partials can be automate...

Re: Strange SetHighDensity() behaviour
This is very insightful. Thank you, Colin, for your efforts and persistence on solving this problem and, of course, for sharing your insights.

Re: Timing accuracy in VM.
The VoltageModule has a GetTotalSamplesMixed() method that serves as a clock in Voltage Modular. It returns the number of samples mixed since VM was started.

Re: my video
I use VM in Cubase Pro 12 on an Intel Core i7-9700 with no dedicated graphics card and what I experience is that the bar graphs in Cubase stall multiple times for a second or two when VM does its "Getting your stuff... " and "Checking for updates..." thing, but that's it. The aud...

Re: Updating a Module
For the nonce, though, the way I deal with the issue is to make sure that any cross relations like that always use SetValueNoNotification() . Remember that every notification gets called once during initialization for a new module, and twice for one in a recreated preset. Correct me if I'm wrong he...

Update released: VM Recorder
Dear fellow modular enthusiasts, I have just released another update to VM Recorder . The new version features: module code optimizations rework of audio file handling GUI modifications + there's actually a tape in the recorder now and it spins during recording ;) + I've dropped the price to only $3...

Re: module for mophing
If by "morphing" you mean crossfade/blend, then you can use the Crossfade module (if you own VM Ignite or Core). If you only have Nucleus at your disposal you can crossfade between two sources with an 8-Step Sequencer and two Amplifiers like this: crossfade nucleus.jpg Crossfade.voltagepre...
