Product identification and lifecycle

I have one module which I've submitted for approval and made available for a small group of beta users. While doing some performance improvement (Java compiler does not seem to optimise some 'formal' patterns...) I noticed a typo in the package name which I ovbiously fixed - no big deal, one would s...

Re: A bug in the Beta functionality?

I removed the module from the Beta but when checked couple of minutes later it was still in the store...

I'm worried a bit because this means the store may contain potentially incomplete version of a module, and the manufacturer does not have much chance to swap it back with the published version.

A bug in the Beta functionality?

I have just added something to one of my already published modules. But is seems as soon as I put this build into Beta it appeared in store without approval. Alsa all instances of the module in my patches in VM chanved into the beta build. I dont believe this is a desired behavour. This denies the p...

A couple of new modules for pad drummers

Hi All, I have just released my first three modules - a couple of days ago actually... These modules have been inspired by my friend who is a guitar player and an avid pad drummer, but for some reason does not like keyboards ;) . He wanted to have something which allows him to control synthesizers t...

Re: Cherry Audio Testing - some suggestions

I believe whoever processes the approvals needs to pay a bit more attention... My bundle has been rejected because the containing modules must be approved first - a fair reason, one may say... the problem is that all the modules in this bundle have been already approved and published to the store....

Re: Remote Control Utility is like a kick in the teeth

The problem with any product is that whatever effort the creators put into it there will be always somebody whos requirements cannot be fulfilled. From my point of view this product is great as I was always an entusiast of modular synthesizers but never had the money to spend on the hardware - there...

Re: Anagram - text not lining up on display/no tooltips

Hmm, isn’t that possible already? Haven’t tried it myself, but I just happened to re-check the section about backgrounds in the Programmer’s Guide, and it says that you only need to have one BG image if it’s an SVG file. EDIT: Tried it, and yes, it certainly works! Wow, how could I missed that...! ...

Re: Anagram - text not lining up on display/no tooltips

This may be an issue with some subpixel detail you would like to preserve. Various image manipulation tools provide vaious scaling algorithms and it is not up to the VM to select how to scale the images, but even with that you may need to edit some low res details manually... But thats an extreeme s...

Re: Cherry Audio Testing - some suggestions

Testing is obiously important but I would also like to see a comprehensive guide for manufacturers. As a new guy in the module development community I would prefer to get things right BEFORE submitting my modules for approval... Would be nice to have some hints in the right places in the manufacture...

Re: outputJack value is not transmitted to reconnected cable

I think the best way to think of it is that the ProcessSample() acts as a pump which passes a values between the cables... you have to pump something otherwise the cables will run empty :)
