BigDecimal is your friend. ;)

Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

Looking forward to the new CPU updates for version 2, just wondering if installing an SSD into my production PC, might help with some of the audio stutters? That would depend on a lot of factors, but I'd say no, it's not going to help much (if the problem is CPU capacity related). Lots of other stu...

Re: ARGH come on Voltage!

I have a little moan in this department. The active midi inputs only displays 2 midi inputs at a time. Theres no scroll bar to indicate you can scroll, as is the case with the audio ins/outs. I think this is already being looked at (there's a thread here somewhere ;) ). You can 'expose' the MIDI in...

Re: VM 2 issues. WAS: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

I guess you have to ask what emulate means. We're trying to create software versions of vintage synths in this case, and those analog synths did not have MIDI inputs. We could add all sorts of digital goodies to the module, but then would it still be an emulation? It's just a comment from the peanu...

Fwiw, I see the same behavior (now that I'm looking for it ;) ).

Re: Questions re Additional Java Files

I just wish MD was a "standard java project." The module designer has some REALLY nice features for the domain, but as an actual coding environment, it's brutal. For me, at least. While it's a bit awkward, you can use Eclipse (or some other IDE of your choice) to do at least some of your ...

Re: Filter similar to mutable Instruments Ripples

I will start to look into porting these across to VM. A very good project. Fully aware of non trivial nature of the task. I have been in software development for 40 years or so (not a typo) so I stand some small chance of getting this up. Maybe! I do not underestimate the effort. I have the S...

Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

Thanks for the info, that is somewhat comforting. Do you mind sharing how you have obtained the files (through VM, wget, Firefox, ...)? The .13 was from the store, via Chrome. FWIW, .15 downloaded via VM (and also worked fine for me). If you're on Win10, your downloaded .13 installer should be fine...

Re: Filter similar to mutable Instruments Ripples

The mutable modules are often requested, I'd love to see them too. But the fact that source code for them is open source doesn't make the job of porting them to VM trivial. On the other hand, the 'roll your own' nature of VM means anyone who wants them badly enough is free to take on the project ;) ...
