Thank you - I wonder why I could not find that before. Probably an unnoticed typo in my search.

I created a new patch and Saved it with a name, in "User Presets". But I did not enter or select a Category for the patch. The Save seemed to work OK, but the patch is nowhere to be found.

it would be much better if an error message had let me know that my save was incomplete.
