2.0.15 Thank You

Thank you once more CA for being so responsive and releasing 2.0.15 so quickly.

Would it be possible for the site to have release notes for versions, indicating a) what has been fixed and b) new features or changes, as per normal practice for software releases?

[Maybe I can't see them?]

Re: Filter similar to mutable Instruments Ripples

Are they very good? That's a project I could take on. Looking for some substantial module ideas to code.

I'm not on the developer team. Don't forget Voltage Module Designer and the API is available to civilians.

Re: VM 2 issues. WAS: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

Without wanting to sound pedantic, the term is "normalled", not "normalised". Normalization would imply alteration of a signal to a normal value or distribution. Normalled means a default normal set of connections. not needing patch cables, as in many hardware synths. Knowing thi...

2.0 Thank You

To all at CA, a very large and sincere thank you for V 2.0. I am overwhelmed at the magnitude of the upgrade, and at no cost to existing owners I can say this is the most generous and substantial software upgrade of any program I have ever seen. It's delightful that VM has shed it's gaudy colours an...

Store not working right

Trying to add the Dice Roller to my Library, noting happens. Tried many times. Also, when at either end of Library browser, it takes about ten clicks and waiting to redisplay page 1 or the last page. I can generate this behaviour at will. I know the site is undergoing turbulence due to V2.0, but rea...

Re: New website works great, but...

I am taking every opportunity to suggest porting the forum to a Discourse platform. See my posts on the topic phpBB. Making a yellow and black theme for phpBB adds nothing and would be a waste of developer resources. Again CA, I can offer my help in setting up Discourse as I have a lot of experience...

Re: phpBB

That's a +1 for Discourse, just to emphasise.

Re: phpBB

I have a lot of experience with Discourse. I feel it is better than Discord. I will help you create it. Just contact me. I suspected phpBB was underneath the forums, but now the ugly truth is exposed. :-) And lo, the disadvantages - not working with contemporary software. Of note is that over the ro...

Re: phpBB

I can append a list of disadvantages of phpBB the length of my arm. I confess I have been in shock all day. The old forum, while not a patch on Discourse, was at least quite nice. I know that you CA are busy with the release tomorrow, but the ball has been dropped in this aspect. Hope we can rectify...

Re: phpBB

Hi Cherry Audio, it may have been a good idea to ask the users about a forum platform change before launching into it. After, it's for the users, isn't it?

My offer to do Discourse for you - no charge of course - still stands.

I think you are going to cop a lot of flak over this poor decision.
