Re: How to create a CR-78 snare drum in VM?
Interesting articles, Colin. I got interested and banged together a version of the one he says is too complicated. You can get some really interesting sounds out of it, depending on whether you choose VCA responses of linear or exponential, where you set the VCO Octaves, and how you balance things. ...

In my experience with Spitfire's products, they tend towards the glorious.

Re: Preset midi with variations
It looks like the Drag Array just copies the current pattern if the toggle is set to "Pattern," with no variations active. You can, however, set it to "Song," and it will copy an entire song. If in the latter mode, variations are inactive if the Preset/User toggle is set to "...

Re: An Ondioline for when?
Coming from Spitfire, it's guaranteed to be samples of the real thing, so it's hard to see how CA could do it better.

Re: Bernard Multi Sequencer LED size and brightness
Some of us actually have the opposite problem. For instance, I develop on a 43" monitor. I always have to remind myself that things might not be as legible to others as they appear to me. That's why knobs on my modules are the sizes they are, and text is the size, font, and weight it is. I've j...

Re: Can anyone list for me an ANALOGy hardware equivelent?
The Moog One is a killer instrument, but you should be aware that it has a history of problems that Moog Music has been slow to resolve. Personally, I wouldn't turn down one as a gift, but at the asking price, I'd really hesitate, and I'm a huge Moog fan.

Re: MIDI Learn - Osc Frequency jumps around zero
This is not the behavior of hardware MemoryMoogs; you can tune them to cancel all beating between oscillators. I'd report this to support, were I you. Just one thought: do you have the detune knob set to zero when you try this? That's not a control the hardware instrument has, as it drifts all by it...
