Re: Feature Request: Ribbon Control/Mapping Options
Thanks for your answer, Steve ! Incidentally, do you remember how you taught the tablet to speak in midi language ? I didn't teach it to speak midi. The software developer did that. I went on line the other night to see if it was still available, but couldn't find it. If it was still available I wo...

Re: Octagon with midi out
Try running the FX version of VM. That's the only way I can get MIDI to emerge from VM. I did some extensive checking and CA confirmed that using the FX version is needed. This changed at some point and left me unable to use VM sequencers to control anything outside of VM. Now, I'm back to doing wh...

Re: Octagon with midi out
I don't have the Roland SH-2, but this type of project interests me. I rarely use the Octagon module, so this is a great patch to try with a different synth that I do have. Thanks for the idea.

Re: Feature Request: Ribbon Control/Mapping Options
Years ago I used third-party software with a Wacom Tablet from the Windows 98 SE / Windows XP era. The software allowed users to load an image (photograph, drawing, etc.) in the virtual tablet. The color/hue/luminance underneath the pencil/stylus could be mapped to all sorts of parameters using MIDI...

Re: Stepless modulation of the oscillator waveform
Is there a module that can modulate the waveforms of the oscillator continuously? Not sure what your goal is. If its to morph through different shapes so as to change the harmonic content, maybe the Super Oscillator might help. Multiple CV inputs can be used to morph (modulate) the shape/harmonic c...

Re: Sync - Thank You!
I like it esp. for its time saving value (update all products needing updates all at once.) I did have an issue with Rackmode Signal Processors. The update failed 3 times. I suspect it was because I had version 1.0.6 installed (which was detected by Sync). After trying several different strategies t...

Re: Poly Performance Controller
I took the easy way out, and avoided using MIDI processing entirely. Understandable. I'll just continue working on planning and developing my suite of MIDI modules based on my own ideas. :-) The module only processes Poly CV signals (and the Mono CV signal of the selected real-time performanc...

Re: Maximum Repeat Rate (delay time) issue
Glad I didn't read the manual, otherwise I wouldn't have had fun revisiting the Tape Echo. This would have stopped me: Repeat Rate Sets the echo base time (see the Mode Selector table and Rate Range above for times). . . . With that in mind, lower settings = slower motor speed, so the lower the knob...

Re: Poly Performance Controller
Looks amazingly complete based on the front panel. I did some real time channelizing of midi data ages ago (when sequencing software didn't do audio) and am interested to see how you handle open/free channels v. channels in use, dynamic assignment of voices, etc. if you do anything like that.
