Re: New sequencer module is out!

Okay, I first try "after the grid", then "before the grid." (When a note crossed a beat, it can be a challenge.) "Micro timing for every note" is easier since it can be done without adding a new grid UI. :) Then, >a third view It can be done by adding a state to the &qu...

Re: New sequencer module is out!

Some sequencers have "micro-timing for every note" and it's not bad. :) Putting dedicated controllers (another grid on right side of the module?) for this like "Modular Sequencer device" would be better? If I do so, I think it will be one group of eight 32th notes since the maxim...

Re: New sequencer module is out!

Thank you for the explanation. Now I see it clearly! This "loop of ~ notes" style is easier to set the parameter especially for those micro-timing things. But it can be slightly un-intuitive? (As another way,)"Setting parameters on every notes" is tedious, but more intuitive (and...

Re: New sequencer module is out!

Haha, larger number itself can be a cause of another view. :)

Yet, I don't fully understand the function of the "Modular Sequencer". Its manual doesn't tell about this function.
Anyway I will try as I can do on Vari-step.

Re: New sequencer module is out!

Yeah, I said that I won't add "micro-timing thing" to Vari-step. But I started to think it can be good to add this feature to Vari-step because I'm still busy to start a new module. It's much faster way to realize a feature. :) I'm surprised that there're so many types of sequencer in the ...

Re: New sequencer module is out!

Thank you!
Some users brought those nice additions to the module.
Probability adds a feeling of controlled randomness. Also it's fun to use. :D

Re: I would instantly buy such module for sure ...

>"Trigger driven" I said about step sequencers which advance their steps with a trigger. Sorry, it was not good choice of words... Of course, it depends on implementation (internal time resolution of a step?). In some cases, sequencers don't know the time between the triggers they receive,...

Re: I would instantly buy such module for sure ...

Trigger driven sequencers cannot do those "nudging notes before the grid".

More rhythm oriented sequencer is one of modules I want to make. I will put these micro-timing feature. :)
(I think it's not difficult to add to Vari-step, but that module is already huge.)
