Re: Stepless modulation of the oscillator waveform
I went searching thru the oscillators I own for one that has a dial/switch to choose the waveform and I found nothing. All of them have separate outputs for each waveform. That said, if you can find an oscillator that lets you select a waveform like on your Kobol, but there's no CV input to modulate...

Re: CTRL + R (randomize) Controled by Voltage ?
It's not exactly what you're looking for (for one thing it involves a fair amount of patching), but here's one approach, using a S&H. In this case, I'm using a polyphonic S&H from Benard, divided and distributed. In this patch, every time I play a note, the harmonic mix changes randomly. Of ...

Re: Newby Question: is there a FREE or CORE polyphonic oscillator?
Likewise, I spent a few years working with Nord G1 and another year with the G2. I also enjoyed a couple of very concentrated years with VCV Rack. When I first came across VM, I was intrigued by its well-integrated interface ('shell'), but disappointed by how few modules there were. That soon change...

VM as MIDI FX in Logic (and other DAWs too)
I'd love to be able to use VM's sequencers in the MIDI FX section of Logic. It's currently possible to sequence Logic synths from VM with a workaround involving the IAC Bus. But it's hardly convenient, and it's limited to the current 'thru' device. If VM was given MIDI FX status, then all the sequen...

Re: Oh no ! Feature request already !
One thing that surprised me was that it has a single envelope generator for both VCF and VCA. That seems like a limitation and shortcoming - maybe it was one of those tough compromises at the time of the original design, but does it need to be retained in the virtual world? Granted you want to reta...

You can also just buy the MS Vintage Bundle for fifteen bucks (Black Friday). It includes an MS20 filter.
