Re: Understanding Set/GetUserProperty
These functions can be really useful if, for example, you're setting up a large grid of knobs, e.g. for a matrix sequencer, or a lot of buttons, e.g. for a drum sequencer. For example, when a button is pressed or a knob is turned, you can retrieve an object that contains the row & column of the ...

Re: Oscillator phase & SetCycle()
Good catch everyone - the SetCycle() function was broken due to a silly mistake, and has been fixed for a future release. (We have a new build (1.3.1) scheduled for possible release this week, and this fix is unfortunately not included.) Thanks for catching this! Also, we didn't realize that ResetCy...

Re: Calculating BPM/Sync rate from a gate/trigger input
Thanks Dan, that makes complete sense.... but how do you work out how many samples apart the two trigger pulses are? I've looked in the library and also at the objects visible in the debug window but can't see anything that would provide this. Keep a running count of samples since your last trigger...

Re: Calculating BPM/Sync rate from a gate/trigger input
I am currently using System.nanoTime() on the leading edge of the gates That's not the right approach. Audio processing in a computer is done one buffer at a time, not one sample at a time, so the actual processing of samples is not done in real time. If a buffer of 480 samples is being processed, ...

Re: Q: Mutiple module vs the six-way mult
Are there any pros or cons (other than when you need 1 input to 8 outputs) of using one or the other? Maybe slightly clearer cabling from the Multiple module. There are no real pros or cons. Sometimes the Multiple modules make it easier to organize your cables, e.g. if you're sending Keyboard CV to...

Re: Question Re: Cable Tranparency
You're welcome! We tried to put the most useful controls on the toolbar, and it's very nice to be able to quickly hide the cables at times, particularly with complex patches.

Re: Feature Request(?): MIDI Clock & MMC support in Standalone mode
Obviously, I've used the Transport's Sync out -> Sync Divider -> Drum Trigger Sequencer's Clock In with EXT on, as a test and it works but ignores any external MIDI Clock source(s) I throw at it. I think it's also ignoring MMC Play/Stop commands. A MIDI Clock to Sync module is a very good idea, we'...

Re: Voltage Modular 1.2 released! Plug-in hosting, OpenGL, and more!
Hi there! First post and new VM demo user here. I tried to load up the VST3 version of the plugin in the latest versions Reaper x64 and Blue Cat's Patchwork and seem to be having problems. Attempting to load the VST3 in Patchwork just crashes that host. The VST3 plugin loads fine in Reaper, but whe...
