Re: Eight-Step Sequencer Basics Needed

You're close. You want the step sequencer at the beginning of that chain so that it sends its CV output (the sequencer creates the CV voltage (i.e. your 'notes' when the Quantization button is pressed) to the KB CV input jack of the Oscillator (which turns the CV signal into actual sound). Plug the ...

Re: FR: V2 of Octagon & Samplers

One more thing for the CA sequencers - it would be great if there were a faint background color in the slider space to indicate to what level a slider is raised (that would give an entire sequence a histogram-type visual which is very easy to grok when thinking about an overall 'pattern').

Re: Suggested New Module/s

I'd like to see a Clock Speed module as there are a few devs who have clock-modifying modules but no simple module to attach to know what the new clock speed is. And as for AndyMac's inital request for West Coast modules - Hetrick has a number of them in his Reaktor Blocks collection - I requested h...

Re: Suggested New Module/s

Just wanted to bump this topic and get latest thoughts on ports of Mutable/Audible Instruments to VM? Definitely has to be top of my wish list for VM. In their current absence - what are the closest existing modules for Plaits, Grids, Marbles, Ripples, Tides? Probably these are the only things keep...

Re: MIDI error in Note 6 (nekomatic)

Just wanted to update this post and let everyone know that nekomatic resolved my issue and the module works both ways now. Very happy! :D

Re: Best size for Imagillator pics (MBA)?

Please, feel free to experiment with different rescaling algorithms, compare the sound and maybe post your results :) Martin Thanks, for your input, Martin! I'll work with different image sizes and see what I come up with. As you allude to, the absolute quality of an image may/may not have any disc...

FR: Bernard Mini's

Wondering if we can get a few new Mini's in the bundle? While the Mini Voltage Grid is an interesting concept I'll never use it. What would be *much* more useful mini form are: 1) S&H 2) 8x1 Switch ( with a slideable step length you could set the module to 1 input and that would be the SH). 3) Mono ...

Re: FR: V2 of Octagon & Samplers

Another thing I'd like to see in Octagon is a BoS/EoS (Beginning of Step / End of Step) trigger jack. That way whenever my playhead reaches the end of a step cycle (no matter how many pulses it contains) a trigger can be sent to start something else Also, please add this to the 8 & 16 Step sequencer...

Best size for Imagillator pics (MBA)?

Just picked up Imagillator and am finding it quite groovy. I want to port some MetaSynth pics over and am wondering what your stretch algorithm is like. Should I resize these myself in say Photoshop to get the 'cleanest' quality image? Also, when creating new images - if 2048 x 256 pixels - is the m...

Re: Plenty of new modules ! Benard, especially.

The Bifucations is a tasty module but if there were ever a module which *screamed* for some functional graphics this is the one. Would be nice to see the 'groups of three' (three outputs with one dial in the center) be grouped visually around the interface with some cool artwork to divide the overal...
