Re: FR: Patch cable colour scheme(s)

This was a discussion awhile back and the threads are in the forum. Indeed, having a consistent coloring scheme would be great when releasing presets.

Maybe I do need to release mine. :-)
Yes, I agree -- you should release yours as well if it's still the same idea we were discussing two weeks ago it would be quite different than this Voltmeter.

Re: 28 bar sequence in Nucleus

The idea behind all this is to demonstrate how you can use sequencers as clock dividers and use them in combination with amplifiers as a switch. The Sample&Hold module is used to hold the pitch CV over "silent" notes. The "Gate Ctrl" Envelope Generator module controls the gate time for every note ...

Path presets option for X/Y

What would ultra-handy is to be able to record up to six different X/Y 'paths' and have them be loaded into an array which could then be switched either manually or by CV triggers. I envision six LEDs to show which 'path' is being played along with a button for manual switching and a jack for CV ...

Re: CV to Hertz module?

Middle C! Would there be any need for more than three inputs? Is three excessive anyway?

I was hoping for at least six inputs as I'm planning on creating my own scales.
Come to think of it why not make it eight. :D
And, what would even be more helpful is a pass-through jack for each input to ...

Re: CV to Hertz module?

I have nearly finished it. It has a tunable A reference, naturally.

Interestingly, there is are some subtle exponential equations to solve for this, and they are sensitive to about 9 decimal places (such is exp()). My background is mathematics so this is right up my alley.

cheerio!

That's ...

honki-bobo wrote: Tue May 26, 2020 2:27 pm Given that you are using a 440Hz base tuning, this formula converts Volts to Hz:
55.0*2^(x+0.25)
You can replace the 55.0 in the formula by (base tuning / 8) if you want to change your base tuning.
Ohhh, that's *very* handy! Thanks for the help!

Re: CV to Hertz module?

You mean convert the pitch 1V/octave CV to frequency, based on A= 440 Hz?

I don't think there is one currently in the store, is there?

I have started module development - this is a very easy module to write. Let me have a go at it for us. I currently have a six output frequency reference ...

CV to Hertz module?

I'm wondering if any of the devs have created a CV to Hertz module? I've looked through, I think, all of the modules but have 't seen one so far.
I'd like to use such a module to aid in 'tuning' my sequencers & oscillators in a non-quantized manner.
