Too many tool-tips?

Hi Folks... I'm working on a module that has a number of sliders which can move automatically in response to an external input (as well/instead of manually). It all seems to work as expected, but occasionally, there are moments when tool-tip bubbles for one or more of the sliders are displayed: http...

Re: BiQuadFilter

In case others are curious, what I've learned so far... The gain parameter : What units/range of values is expected? The set/get method names suggest dB, if so, are there min/max values? Or is it some other unit? It is dB, but Googling suggests it's only used by shelf/peak filters (http://shepazu.gi...

Re: BiQuadFilter

Hi Dan... Here's an example of a notch filter, at 10,000 Hz, with a bandwidth of 1 octave: BiQuadFilter notchFilter = new BiQuadFilter(BiQuadFilter.FilterType.NOTCH, 10000, 0, 1.0); [ . . . ] Please let us know if you have any further questions! Thanks, Dan I have some additional bi-quad questions f...

Voltage Modular Designer price change?

Hi Folks... Has the price of a "commercial" license for VMD really increased to $350.00? The store page offers conflicting numbers, but I'm assuming the cart doesn't lie. Wasn't the price $99.00 previously? A $350.00 USD price point would seem to put it out of reach of most "casual"/community develo...

Re: Module Initialization...

Hi Dan... Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate your insights. I'll experiment with Set/GetStateInformaiton, but I'm not sure they're quite what I need... As I understand it, the preset support routines aren't ever called in VMD (since it doesn't support presets), but somehow knob/slider info *is*...

Re: 1.3.11 Debugging Issue?

Hi Russ...

Thanks for the info - it sounds like you're on the right track, given what I saw in the logs.

If there's anything you need/want me to do to help isolate the problem, I'll be happy to give it a go.

Cheers,

Module Initialization...

Hi Folks... I'm trying to use a group of hidden Editable Labels to store some persistent state information for a module I'm building - 'quick recall' slots that store sub-preset level information for the module. Each label is tied to a ToggleButton (in radio group), and the overlay text color of the...

Re: 1.3.11 Debugging Issue?

Hi Folks... FWIW, I've "solved" the problem by rolling back to 1.3.5 (for both VMD and VM). It was hit-n-miss for me with 1.3.11... sometimes things would be fine for a while, then the "debug shell fails to start" issue I mentioned above would return... eventually with a vengeance: On Friday there w...

Re: 1.3.11 Debugging Issue?

Hi Russ... Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, it happens both with and without the debugger. "Stop Running" *will* (eventually) bring VM back to life. I've sent a link to a collection of log files via the support form. The "Good" and "Bad" logs are from back-to-back runs right after a restart. The oth...
