Re: Any chance for native Linux VST?

I'm moving to Linux and selling all - or most - of my non-native plugins. I'd love to take VM with me! Is there any chance it will ever be ported there? :?: For now the only modular synth that runs native in Linux is the excellent open source VCV Rack wich has a huge base of users around the world ...

Re: Confusing post: DCO-106 Polyphonic Synthesizer

Voltage NEEDS to support 96kHz natively. Enough of this 48kHz religion. It introduces signifiant levels of aliasing. Admittedly, I adore Voltage despite this. I love everything about it except for this. If the point of virtual modular is to sound analog, then aliasing has got to go. This thread has...

Re: Confusing post: DCO-106 Polyphonic Synthesizer

I agree that making VSTs it’s not the way to go. The product that gave Cherry Audio a name is Voltage Modular and I think most VM owners would prefer more news and modules in the modular realm. Softube launched their utterly brillian Doepfer inspired Softube Modular and after the initial frenzy of t...

Re: Something *new* is coming

Yes there is a chance we could get an update to the DCO-60 or some new modules (the new reverb maybe) I hope so, I sense a disappointment amongst the loyal 'Modular' users (after all, that's all we were until yesterday!) I agree that making VSTs it’s not the way to go. The product that gave Cherry ...

Re: Something *new* is coming

I already own Roland's (the maker of Juno 106) Juno 106 VST in Roland Cloud wich use Roland's patented Analog Circuit Beahuvoir in order to replicate each circuit component in the original synths , so I will pass on this. Roland Juno 106 emulation has 8 voice polyphony compared to Cherry Audio DCO 1...

Re: Euclidean sequencer easy to use.

The point here is that I own a hardware analog semimodular (Behringer Neutron) and I must say that VM sounds as analog as the real hardware. This is what I like most about VM. For me it's like having a real hardware analog synth inside my computer. Maybe I should concentrate in seeing it as a small ...

Re: Euclidean sequencer easy to use.

Maybe euclidean sequencing and that kind of esoteric stuff is too much for me. The risk of modular synths IMO is that there are so much possibilities that sometimes you spent most of the time experimienting and trying things rather than doing actual music. Maybe I should keep things simple or I will...

Re: Euclidean sequencer easy to use.

One big problem with some modules is that they are DIFFICULT AS HELL of understand the way the are supposed to work. Developers should provide a better documentation in some cases and even upload some demonstration videos in Youtube. There's no point in purchasing a module you'll be unable to use be...

Just press play and teak! (and you get two of them)
I'll give it a try. There's no way I can understand how it's supposed to work this one I puchased https://store.cherryaudio.com/modules/uquence-sequencer

Euclidean sequencer easy to use.

I’m intrigued by this Euclidean thing. The examples of euclidean generative rhytmns and sequencing I’ve heard sounds interesting but when I tried to use an euclidean sequencer I can’t understand noghing about it. Maybe the documentation is badly written but honestly I wish there where an EASY euclid...
