Mercury

Holy crap!! This is a fun one. The super lfo was a nice tip. Lots of possibilities with this one. It's a little bit like taming a bronco or at least what I imagine it's like.

Thanks!!

Re: Frustration

Well, I'm assuming this had something to do with the server outage last night. After waiting for it to download all my modules again, I closed and re-opened it only to start from scratch again. Today it went through the whole process again but is fine after closing and reopening it.

Frustration

Just used VM last night and all was well. Opened it again today and it decided to download every single one of my modules again. Grrr...

Re: Voltage Modular Feature Requests

Don't think these two ideas have come up yet... 1. When booting VM (including instantiating it in a DAW (in my case Logic), VM often opens with seemingly random display settings (e.g. List View or Icon View in the Library, Performances showing or hiding). I wish it would make up its mind based on a...

Re: abandonware?

Got to say I agree. I know you're in the business of making money and I guess this sells. Although I don't understand who'd want an emulation of a drum machine from 1978 when there are so many better options around these days. Nostalgia, I guess. Voltage Modular is something special with some really...

Re: Is there a reason why all modules are being redownloaded in relatively short intervals?

Yes, I'm aware of that option and have used it in the past. However, it doesn't prevent the big long sync that prefaces the actual update of modules. When I've enabled this option in the past it would do its normal sync and spin cycle and when I thought it was done I'd start working on my patch only...

Re: Is there a reason why all modules are being redownloaded in relatively short intervals?

The whole check in with the mothership process is painful in general. Either you need to speed it up A LOT or give us the option to sync modules when we're ready. I have a lot of modules and have to play the waiting game every time I open it up and if you have a repeated crash it's a PITA to trouble...
