Referring to it's name I'd like to mention, that VM is used worldwide. On my view, use of national specific letters like "ÄÖÜß" might be a problem for non German users. Every OS an browser is now fully Unicode compatible. This is a non-issue. And also, we don't need to Anglicize the whole world. I ...

I suspect that your definition of "horrible aliasing" and theirs might differ. I think aliasing is by definition horrible without the adjective. I am writing some generator modules now and it takes an advanced knowledge of DSP (and a huge amount of work) to prevent oscillators from aliasing, which ...

Of all the audio manufacturers I am impressed that Bitwig supports Linux (irrelevant to the question, but interesting anyway).
