LO-FI-FX - new module
Howdy,
LOFIFX (low fidelity effects) borrows the FX section from the LOOPREC2 looping module and allows the effects to be applied to any audio signal (in LOOPREC2, the FX are only applied to the recorded loop). If you already own LOOPREC2, LOFIFX is half-price!
Put LOFIFX with the default settings ...

Re: how to get the biquad filter as eq?
Just to chip-in here...
Biquad filters have known side-effects - if you modulate the cutoff frequency they can "blow-up" (edit: basically a divide by zero).
For set frequencies, they work fine but tweaking the cutoff in realtime with a knob on the UI is asking for trouble ;)

Re: Number of transmitted poly channels
 Yikes. I didn't realise we were talking audio rate data transfer. Err... nope, I would not even try that with MIDI messages.
Normally with MIDI, I'd do some pre or post message processing and discard messages deemed redundant . Obviously depends on the application, but seems like you'd want ...

Re: Number of transmitted poly channels
I'm afraid that channel count for MIDI transmission will also be limited by Voltage kernel. That explaines, why I cannot (I don't want to) use an extra MIDI module.
That kinda surprises / confuses me - I'm probably missing something here due to lack of context.
I'm pretty sure you can send and ...

Re: Number of transmitted poly channels
Is there a reason why you couldn't just use a MIDI cable to do this sort of stuff?
To me, all these problems and multi-channel challenges are very much sounding like what MIDI was designed to solve back in 1983

LOOPREC2 - live looping funstation
LOOPREC2 is more than just a stereo version of LOOPREC. We've added a host of extra looping features like reverse and half-speed playback, plus an effects section and tempo sync.

SPLOSHBOX reverberator / sustainer
New module release!
The SPLOSHBOX reverberator / sustainer is two effects in one module! First and foremost, it’s a lush stereo-tastic reverb with up to one minute’s worth of decay time! As a little bonus, SPLOSHBOX can also operate as a “freeze” effect, where the reverb tail sustains infinitely to ...

Re: Miniverse Modular vs Laboratory SM Voice
Is there another?
:D Truly amazing what can be done with VMD, the SDK and Java. Kudos and thanks to CA.
I'm just finishing up on a module and I know other devs would have laughed if I'd said I was writing it in Java.
Fun fact. A very young me was working for IBM when Java was unveiled. Our ...

I too feel your sticky skin irritation! :)
make sure to either rename the new image files or to replace the image files from the resources directly.
Yep, that's my workaround too - you need to force the update. I hope these issue are logged so we might see a fix in a future update. Can't ...
