Out of curiosity, what are you basing this on?

I was probably wrong. The song came out in 1882. A year before the DX7 came out. :!: I thought I heard it in a Youtube video once. But the sound must be based on Africa.

Back then, Native Instruments had small versions of their VST synths called Xpress Keyboards. They had fewer settings, were compact and were more like preset players of the big synths. I would love to see something like that again. Just a “small” suggestion from me.

So my thought was to first decide on an instrument that many in the forum have here, then there is a collective thread. That could be this one. Everyone builds presets, we also collect existing ones from the forum and one person puts everything together into a bank at the end and it could be pinned ...

In principle, no matter what sounds. Just a community sound bank would be easier to load than all the individual presets and you'd also have a kind of fun competition. Would you be interested in general? I don't know, but there should probably be 3-4 people minimun who would participate and you ...

What do you think of a community soundbank for a Cherry Audio synthesizer? Anyone can join in and contribute their best sounds?
I would also suggest a new subforum, similar to the Looptalk forum in the FL Studio forum, where the community can discuss all kinds of topics.

I have just started VM again. There was the usual "Retrieved user info" and then when scrolling through the modules, "updating catalog" came up several times. I have also switched off the automatic updates.

Yes, now CA can add a few cool features with the next update, but I'm already happy.
