Re: Your manual's gonna have to get a LOT more basic for us newbies....

Hi OP I'm surprised that you're having a different experience than me, because I learned synthesis on voltage modular, and I thought it was great. I started by watching the 2 or 3 beginners guide videos done by Cherry Audio on youtube. These probably also cover the important stuff like picking the s...

Re: Any way to get more I/O?

when it comes to getting cv in and out, would converting things to MIDI work, using things like "CV to MIDI CC converter" ?
and multiples of "MIDI CC converter" ?

Monkey Business Audio also has a VM Recorder for $5 - could use multiples of that to record audio that you can't send out?

Re: New 2021 modules out now!!!

I'm having a really good time watching the Tim Shoebridge videos on youtube where he's using Behringer System 100 modules to explore modular synthesis. Re: MG-1 standalone GUI issue

I was having that issue on windows 8.1 with my laptop screen resolution set to the recommended 1366x768. (unable to view the whole program window, unable to access zoom in/out buttons, unable to drag window because top of program is off the screen) By lowering the resolution to any other available r...

Re: How to "hold" incoming MIDI notes?

I'd check some of the bundles to see what kind of MIDI utilities are on offer (macaulay? bernard?), but you may be able to make something using "poly MIDI in" (from cherry audio) to "poly to mono" (cherry) to "sample and hold" connected to each p2m cv out. each s&H being triggered by the cv sources/...

Re: MG-1 not in VST INSTRUMENT LIST.

I'd install free cakewalk DAW and use that instead. And upgrade to Win10, which you can probably still do for free even though Microsoft says the free period is over.
