Re: Why does DCO-106 open a remote connection everytime I load it?
There is no description that an internet connection is needed and it also works offline. That's why I don't understand why a remote connection is established on every start? What's the reason for this? What is transmitted? Is my behaviour logged? Updates are off and showing news is turned off too. I...

Re: Licensing Question (hypothetical)
That sounds very assuring. I don't expect that Cherry Audio will go out of business anytime. But when you think about to invest long-term in a system these questions start to matter and can become a deciding factor. I plan to use VM a long time and want to get proficient with it. It's an important f...

Why does DCO-106 open a remote connection everytime I load it?
I noticed that DCO-106 is creating a remote connection to a server every time I load it. I have turned all automatic updated and notifications off. I'm want to ask kindly first, but this kind of behaviour is pretty off-putting and invasive. Is this behaviour documented anywhere? In case I'm doing a ...

Re: Idea: would love a more real looking VM gui
Well that's a controversial can of worms if ever. That's skeuomorphism. VM is already highly skeuomorphic. There are arguments against it. If you consider VCV Rack, the design centre is mostly flat non-skeuomorphic panels. Most designers seem to prefer that nowadays. For a bit of a chat about this:...

Idea: would love a more real looking VM gui
I enjoy VM a lot. I think it looks fine too, no issues here. But VM is a modular emulation for me and I like that it emulates an real world analog workflow.I know it's superficial to think that, but I would like VM even more with a bit more real looking gui design. I like the more real looking softu...

The forum is somehow buggy, my attachments were removed randomly again. I hope it works better when I add one attachment per post.
