Re: High Pitched Ring
I can see it in my equalizer in Cubase. I'll filter out the highs down to 6500 or 7000 and then put it through the Digital Reverb. On the Cubase graph, it will still show highs playing where there shouldn't be. Why would Reverb add that in? I then remove the Digital Reverb and switch over to Cubase ...

Re: High Pitched Ring
This is only heard from Voltage. None of my many other instruments sound like this, even from Cherry. It's like we need a Voltage 3 to update the quality of the sound. I may find other oscillators that I prefer to use.
EDIT: Changing the filter on what I've already made to 6500 helps. That may be ...

High Pitched Ring
I have only one complaint about the sound of Voltage. I'm getting a quiet, high pitched ring from the notes. It's like a simulation of hardware synthesizers that's supposed to make it sound metallic. I find it quite annoying. I've tried equalizing it out, but that doesn't seem to solve the problem ...

Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
I threw a delay effect of 200 onto each synth and used an arpeggiator from my piano with them going across three octaves. The sound was beautiful.

Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
I've finally had a chance to play with it. I quickly duplicated the entire row by right-clicking the empty space. I then turned the dials for the pitches on the oscillators up to seven. Next, I just set up a stereo mixer and reduced the volume of the second row a little. Finally, it sounded neat ...

Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
Thanks. This immediately made me realize ways of doing this as a full synth. I never use pitch changes on the ocsillator, so I wasn't even think of that. Clearly, the EnvGen would do delayed timing. Really, though, I'll just make the notes myself. It's just more playing. No biggie.

Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
Thank you. I've been needing to learn about cabinets. That will help tons of things.

Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
This could be easy in a DAW. If it has an arpeggiator on the instrument that's set to slow and is only allowed to play for one additional note, then the effect is easily done. I just needed to think beyond Voltage. I spend so much time in it. :D Although, it would be equally easy to just add the ...

Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
Actually, if Voltage could copy cables with modules to the row down, I could easily duplicate an entire synth. *sigh* It's not worth it.
