Re: Strange SmoothValue results
Colin wrote: Roland, rather than spend days trying to get CA's hidden code to work why not just write your own solution? Colin, you're right. That's why I'm just coding my own solution for another Voltage object. But nevertheless I try to understand basic use of Voltage elements. As several times b...

Re: Strange SmoothValue results
Hi Reid, you hit it! My understanding of SmoothValue was, that it gets calculated continuously in the background. Now I read the thread again and now understood Colin's explanation. This means, that only a GetValue() initiates an update calculation. Thanks a lot, guys. You saved me from getting craz...

Re: Strange SmoothValue results
Hi Grant, thanks for the link. In that dialogs I did not find any helpful new information. As I wrote before, I alreday used SmoothValue() with no problems. Your worries about using SetValue() too frequently are a good hint. So I checked this and reduced that method calls to intervals of 5,000 and e...

Strange SmoothValue results
Hi, I've already used SmoothValue() without any problems. But at the moment I get strange results with it. Until yesterday my code used two smoothed values. For both I set same rate and initial value as levelSmoothedValue.ResetValue( 0 ); levelSmoothedValue.SetFixedTime( smoothRate, 1.0 ); averageSm...

Re: Synthetic Future X R_Ware - MICRO MODULES
Hi, today I've got Micro Poly FREE Bundle . It's a very smart set of little helpers. Thanks for this gift. Help text of Micro DC Source Poly confused me. It says "WholeVolts: quantizes the output voltages to whole note steps ." But in that mode the module outputs whole volts. I'd better de...

Re: Cr78 modules
@seal58 - was there official word about that somewhere? No, it's my opinion. Indeed there are some devices, that one could get as module too, but only a very few ones. As I remember, Rackmode Module Collection was presented at same time as VM module and as VST FX. And Synthesizer Expander Module Sy...

Re: Cr78 modules
I'm afraid, this won't happen. Nevertheless you can use it within VM as other VST devices too with the CA Plug-In Host or the Mini Plug-In Host.

Re: An Ondioline for when?
I'm watching elctronic musical instrument development and did not know about the Ondioline yet. Thanks for calling it up here.
It sounds very good and can fight against many synthesizers.
