Re: Making a Quantizer

I think, that algorithm is only true, when the input is normalized as signal 0 to 1 volt. The octave transpose amount should be subtracted before quantizing and added afterwards.

Code: Select all

int octave = (int)inputValue;
normalizedValue = (inputValue % 1);

P.moon offers first modules and bundles

Hi there, seal58 has changed to P.moon . I'm very happy that I can present my new modules now. Because I work on sequencer setups for generative music, I found many kinds of VST modules missing everywhere in the web, even at Cherry Audio. So I started to program these tools myself with Voltage Modul...

Re: FR: Plug-ins Hosts: plug-ins folder

As far as I know, there is a standard place for Vst plugins, that DAWs usually are looking for, when they are started. For Windows (64 bit): C:\Program Files\VSTPlugIns For Windows (32 bit): C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugIns For better order it is possible to create further folders within \VSTPlugins.

Re: How to store digital counter values in VM setup

Hi,
now I understood the idea. I changed my modules and the setups save and restore all setups. :)
Thanks a lot!

Re: How to store digital counter values in VM setup

Hi Captain, the idea with a hidden knob is great and seems to be realised rather easy. Thank you very much! In Initialize() I readout the knob value to set the counter. In Process() I set the knob value everytime, when the counter value is changed. That should it be. Unfortunately this does not work...

How to store digital counter values in VM setup

Hello, during JAVA programming every symbol's value has to be set once before using. Independent of that Voltage Modular stores last state of any value of switches, toggle buttons, knobs. Unfortunately it seems not to be done for digital counters. Everytime when I load a saved user setup in VM, all ...

Re: how to get radio buttons working?

Meanwhile I published the module. I'm very happy that it looks as it should in VM.
So the VMD seems to be the reason of visualation problems. :)

Re: VMD fault after update 1.3.16

Thank you!

The error message brought a missunderstanding. It referred only to VMD.
After updating VM VMD works now again.

Re: how to get radio buttons working?

Hello again, the definition of the group ID was the "missing link". Basically all radio button groups work now (at least on logical level). But there is still a little fault on vizualation. All radio buttons look inactive after loading the module first time until one button is pushed by clicking wit...
