Re: Reason RRP in VM

Until I do further testing, I'm going to take the easy way out and blame Sonoma.

Re: Reason RRP in VM

When I run two RRPS like you did, and nothing else, I have no problem. I can play the patch all day. i can also change one of the two RRPs to a different plugin, with no problem. But as soon as I add another VM module to the patch, even just a stock LFO, I get the freeze within a minute. I've tried ...

Re: Reason RRP in VM

Interesting. So I'm using Sonoma (latest) and the latest versions of VM and Reason. What about you?

Clutching at straws I know, but have you tried using the full-fat Plug-In Host rather than Mini?
No I haven't tried the full Plug-in Host. I'll do that. You never know.

Reason RRP in VM

I tried running the Reason RRP in VM today, using Mini Plugin Host. The RRP contained a reverb RE (a port of Valley Plateau) running through a stock modulation effect, and the VM patch had not much going on. Within a few minutes, VM would freeze, and the only way out was a force quit. This happened ...

Re: Voltage Modular Feature Requests

I like VM's very cool cable bus feature. I use a cable bus on the main audio outputs of my patches to make that last pair of cables 'invisible'. I wish VM had an autoload template patch so the busses would automatically be available in a new patch instead of having to create them every time. I can ...

Re: Sync multiple Voltage Modular Instrument Tracks in DAW

You should have no problem synching all the VM instances to ProTools' clock. Here's the setup (I'm using Logic, but I'm pretty certain it'll be the same in PT). I know of no way that you would synch them to each other without a fancy workaround, perhaps using MIDI loopback tool. But I think your pri...

Re: AirWave vector animation

My oversight. I thought by externally controlled you meant from outside VM and by onboard you meant within VM. Basically it's the same method as what Colin and Grant mentioned. I used Remote Control from an external midi. Sorry for the confusion, I figured the screenshot made it clear, but I could ...

Re: AirWave vector animation

I think Colin's analysis is spot-on. Some developers drive knobs and sliders based on CV input. Others (myself included) tend towards making the CV input a delta/offset from the manually-set knob position. If you do desire visible CV control of the joystick, perhaps you could use CA's " Remote...
