Re: Adroit Custom Imminent

That looks exceptional, Colin. What a Herculean task! (Though I imagine it was a true labour of love, too :) )

Re: Random Out Switch Crash

So...I was just messing around and discovered that the Random In Switch also can freeze/crash VM if only one jack in the bottom area is connected. So it's both. As far as I can tell. Weird that they've been available so long and no issue has ever seemed to be raised (at least nowhere publicly visib...

Wouldn't something from 73 years ago be even better?
I'll see your RCA Mk II and raise you an Oramics Machine.

Re: MC-4 Microcomposer sequencer module ?

Funnily enough, I have something in the works. I've been really studying old sequencers; I bought an MC-300 a while a go and I've been digging into how they work and then the history behind these sequencers, and eventually came back to the MC-4 and MC-8... It's very early on, but I've got it contro...

Re: MC-4 Microcomposer sequencer module ?

Have you looked at the Mighty Piano Roll ? MightyPianoRoll.jpg It's a lot more user-friendly than the laborious MC-4 method of note entry. If you want to go for that authentic 'calculator keypad' entry system, then I don't think there's anything like it in the store currently. I believe Alex Ball is...

Re: Shepard Moon module released

Shepard Moon has now been updated to v1.1. This features the addition of a 'Reset Angle' knob, which makes the task of synchronising multiple Shepard Moons a whole lot easier.

Re: Shepard Moon module released

I love these sounds. What would be the easiest way of creating an "on" switch for one of the presents from a standing start (I'm thinking "Light This Candle")? I would like to be able to assign a button for live purposes. Off switch would be good too, for similar reasons. Thx St...

The ironic thing is that the Shepard Moon module can create its own OPTICAL illusions! :)

Re: Dome Music Technologies Two Year Anniversary Sale

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shepard_tables Fascinating. Thanks for pointing me to that. For me it helps explain why people with different orientations see things differently in more ways than the obvious. I copied the Shepard Tables image from Wikipedia and isolated the two parallelograms for mys...
