Re: No Presets After Download/Install/Activation
You're probably best to raise a ticket through the Cherry Audio Support page . CA are usually pretty quick at resolving any issues. Be sure to supply as much information as possible about your computer system, OS, DAW, etc. Also, whether you are having the same results when used as a plug-in within ...

Re: Strange Aliasing Effect in all VM2500 Oscillator
All four VM2500 oscillator modules have been updated with my new oscillator design and should work great from DC to light no matter what range is dialed up. If anybody wants to put them through their paces and get back to me, that'd be great. Once again thanks for pointing out the problem. --mb Epi...

Re: Any chance for native Linux VST?
Plus Linux as a workstation OS for audio really is a great option. I'm not trying to be confrontational, and I certainly don't want to dissuade you from your course of action. I'm genuinely intrigued as to why you would rate Linux as a better host OS for audio purposes than the big two proprietary ...

Re: Strange Aliasing Effect in all VM2500 Oscillator
I built my own module which allows you to select between AnalogOscillator and DigitalOscillator classes from a front panel switch.
I then created a YouTube video which lets you hear it / see it running in parallel with the VM2500 1004-P oscillator.

Re: Strange Aliasing Effect in all VM2500 Oscillator
However, many vintage (hardware) oscillator modules are multi-purpose, designed to be used throughout the entire frequency range as both audio signals (audio VCO) and control voltage signals (LFO). Minimoog's Oscillator 3 is a perfect example of this design philosophy, where it can be used for both...

Re: Strange Aliasing Effect in all VM2500 Oscillator
I think I have come up with a possible explanation for this behaviour, together with a simple workaround. The Science Bit: There are two types of oscillator class built in to the Cherry Audio Java SDK, the AnalogOscillator and the DigitalOscillator: AnalogOscillatorClass.PNG DigitalOscillatorClass.P...

Strange Aliasing Effect in all VM2500 Oscillator
When I select the 250Hz Coarse range (and above) on the VM2500 oscillator modules, they have a lovely, clear sound. However, I've discovered that if you switch to the 125Hz Coarse range (and below) some kind of aliasing / artifacts creep into the output. This happens with all the 1004 variants and t...

Re: A voltage controled sample and Handle coupled with a glide time ?
Using the S&H output of an LFO to determine the SLOPE / Rate of Change of an ACE Integrator module. The higher the output value of the LFO, the steeper the slope of the Integrator output. Positive output from the LFO leads to an upwards slope, while negative LFO outputs leads to downwards slopes...

Re: A voltage controled sample and Handle coupled with a glide time ?
I used three Smol Rats in series to smooth the output of a random sample & hold signal. Both the LFO frequency and the slew rates of the Smol Rats is controlled by a single control voltage source. This CV source is Channel 1 of the ACE Constants and Multipliers module. Smol Rat Random Slew Patch...
