I, too, own that "A" version one also, yet enjoy the CA one more. Yeah, A has poly, so I can reach for that as needed...

just dreaming how the CA2600 COULD sound with a poly mode. nice nice. oh well.

right. I could see the performance cost being factored in:

a. you can always switch the feature off for fully live
b. you accept that turning the knob with have the slightest catch up delay while it decides to slide slow or fast for you.

I could work with that. generally fast filter moves from 0 ...

could we get some love put into a single press install update?

Like, when instrument says "UPDATE" upper right, you press and it stores your settings, downloads, closes open instrument, installs, reopens where you were, all updated.

Right now it's:

1. click UPDATE
2. "Would you like to go to ...

an example of this is:

I own all but 6 Cherry Audio synths offered in STACK 3. Of those 6, I only will ever want 2. The 6 seem discounted in the synth stack, but if I bought just those two alone, it would be just a little less than the synth stack with extra money into 4 plugs I will never want ...

I'm mostly wondering about per synth discounts... as I don't want ALL the synths in latest synth stack, just some. Might be deals here or there, but I can wait for individual ...

will there be any upgrade/discounts for people who already own MOST of the synths seperately, in the Synth Stack 3 but don't want to buy full synth stack to get a couple more synths?

haven't done a spreadsheet, but if you used them both for real, you understand the main differences, I bet.
there's a little crossover (like most synths) but each has their strengths and weaknesses.

they don't SOUND the same to be, but I'm more after the nostalgic controls and flow.\

fully agree and respect that. that said, these were never so tight, adding to the vintageness. just a hidden right click button behind a screw or something, please! :D (i know i know, won't happen, but never hurts to ask) You guys FIXED the 8voice nicely with some slopability.
it does sound great ...
