JK's Random Sampler

JK's Random Sampler has been upgraded all the way to 2.0! Each parameter has extra ways to control how random things are. (Because controlled random is best random!) There's a bunch of new CV inputs and a few other goodies as well. You can see all changes on the store page https://store.cherryaudio....

Offering MODULE presets with a module?

Hi! So, the subject says it all. I see that it's possible to package up some VM presets (which I prefer to call patches to avoid ambiguity) to put on the store with our modules...but is it possible to put module-specific presets (i.e. knob configuration and whatnot) on the store or with the module i...

Re: Getting mouse x and y position??

Hi, I think these get passed in to the Notify method...lemme see...

Yeah, among the many parameters are two ints, x and y, which I believe will hold the mouse coordinates (relative to the object itself). Can't remember how I figured this out, don't know if it's explicitly documented anywhere...

Re: Auto import/export module source

Hey, I finally figured this out...it was working the whole time but I was just being stupid about it. I do appreciate the reply, though, so thanks.

Re: Auto import/export module source

Currently trying to figure this out still. Anyone from Cherry Audio care to chime in?

The general inactivity on these forums makes me sad. But so do most things, so don't take it personally. ;)

Auto import/export module source

Hello yet again. So, as the subject implies, I'm wondering about this new feature. How does it work? I haven't been able to figure out what it's supposed to actually be doing. What/where is source being exported to and/or imported from? I've been using auto-update external java files, which is nice ...

Re: Working with samples

Just an update for anyone interested: Figured out one way at least. When I want the sample offset to change, I recreate the SampleVoiceProgram with a new SampleVoiceProgram.SampleInfo where the ByteBuffer that I feed it is offset by the appropriate number of bytes (bytes! not samples). It seems to b...

Re: Working with samples

ah...so I didn't realize...VoltageSound is a subclass of VoltageComponent...that seems to almost point me to some enlightenment except...nope...I think I'm more confused now, since I generally think of components as knobs, sliders, jacks, etc.

Working with samples

Hello I'm using the SamplerVoice and SamplerVoiceProgram classes to make a sampler module. My main question is, is there a built-in/easy way to change the sample start offset? I only see values for loop points. If not, is there any decent way I could achieve this without having to ditch these classe...
